This document explains how to build a smart chat module using ChatGPT x Bubble. Assuming you have little experience with either, I'll walk you through the process. If you're already familiar with Bubble.io, feel free to skip the first part.

First, you need to have OpenAI and Bubble accounts. If you already have these accounts, you can skip this step.

1. Creating a Bubble app & Installing API connector plugin

First, you need to create a Bubble app. You can name your app whatever you want.

After your application loads, you can skip the assistant.

Now you need to install the API connector plugin in order to create our custom API.

Go to Plugins section → Click Add Plugins Button → Install API connector

2. ChatGPT API

Now you can connect the ChatGPT API to Bubble.
